A community healthcare provider in Ilford is seeking a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to deliver specialized therapy services to individuals with learning disabilities and autism. As a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist in the Intensive Support Team, you will play a key role in providing specialized speech and language therapy services to individuals with learning disabilities and / or autism who are experiencing crisis situations. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver intensive community‑based support, aiming to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and facilitate the individual's well‑being and recovery within their familiar environment.
This post will be subject to a probationary period.
NLFT places great importance on welcoming new starters. Applications will commence on the first Monday of each month. New starters undergo up to two weeks induction, including mandatory training, systems training, and equipment allocation. They will meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend drop‑in sessions on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. Induction occurs at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
This post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum £4,714, maximum £5,941 p.a. pro rata for part‑time).
