Job summary

Elysium Healthcare Limited's Adderley Green Neurological Centre in Stoke-on-Trent invites you to join as a Speech and Language Therapist with neurological experience. You will lead therapeutic group sessions and build strong one-to-one relationships to support speech, language and communication recovery.

You will manage a designated caseload, complete assessments, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes in line with care plans.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Experience managing a caseload involving the assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
• Experience working with families.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation.

You will have experience managing a designated caseload using your theoretical and practical knowledge to complete assessments, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes in line with care plans.

With a strong emphasis on teamwork, you will receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of training courses to help you achieve your career goals.

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will: Demonstrate specialist skills in managing complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences, and developing appropriate strategies for caseload management.

Undertake audits and contribute to research relating to the provision of treatment.

Apply specialist knowledge in the area of neurological rehabilitation.

To be successful in this role, you will need: HCPC registration.

Where You Will Be Working Location: Dividy Road, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST2 0TN You will be working at Adderley Green, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service for people with neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries.

The extensive facilities cater to the specific needs of people aged 18 and over who have complex neurological care and rehabilitation requirements.

You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver truly person-centred services, where each individual is at the heart of everything we do.
