At The Harborne Hospital we have a very diverse patient caseload supporting people with craniotomies, prolonged intubation, tracheostomy, and cervical spine surgeries. The Therapies department is an expanding team currently consisting of 1 full time physiotherapist and 1 part time dietitian, with plans to recruit another part time physiotherapist. We are supported by bank Physios, Dietitians, OTs and SLTs. Opportunities for permanent positions may become available as patient volumes increase, with potential for growth and development with support from our specialist SLTs at London sites. We are committed to delivering exceptional care and are seeking Bank SLTs to join the team at The Harborne Hospital.
As part of our Bank you'll have first refusal ahead of agency on a range of shifts across our network of leading private hospitals, all of which are currently rated "Good" or "Outstanding" by the CQC. This role offers exposure to one of the UK's leading private healthcare providers with flexibility over when and where you work, and the opportunity to collaborate with leading consultants and colleagues.
Above all else, we are dedicated to the care and improvement of human life and value each team member who contributes to our mission.
Note: The description outlines duties and opportunities at a high level for Bank SLTs within the network; specific individual responsibilities will be assigned in line with service needs.
With this role there will be the opportunity to upskill in instrumental assessments (FEES and VFSS) and clinical supervision can be provided from the wider HCA team of SLTs.
We support flexible working arrangements where possible and are a Disability Confident committed organisation. We can discuss reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process and in the workplace.
