Job summary

Amazon Development Centre (London) Limited - C26, Audible Research team, seeks an applied Scientist with a strong ML/DL background to join in Cambridge, UK. You will push state-of-the-art in spoken language generation and contribute to products leveraging speech and language tech.

You will work with peers to develop novel algorithms, leverage large-scale data and compute resources, and impact customers with speech-driven innovations for Alexa.

Qualifications

• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience with SQL and an RDBMS (e.g., Oracle) or Data Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement novel Machine/Deep Learning approaches which add value to Amazon
• Lead and Mentor junior engineers and scientists
• Participate in the design, development, evaluation, deployment and updating of data-driven models and analytical solutions for spoken language applications
• Develop and/or apply statistical modelling methods (e.g. deep neural networks), optimizations, and other ML techniques to different applications in spoken language engineering
