Job summary

Specsavers is offering a 15-18 month apprenticeship to become a fully-fledged Level 3 Spectacle Technician at our Washington store. You will learn on the job while earning a full-time wage, with structured learning and support from an experienced team.

You will train across producing orders, interpreting prescriptions, adjusting and testing glasses, and maintaining materials. You must have GCSE Maths and eligibility to work in the UK; travel to the store daily is expected.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths grade 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent.
• EU residence for 3+ years with right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Produce customer orders from scratch and interpret optical prescriptions.
• Correct faults and re-assemble glasses; perform testing and adjustments.
• Prepare and maintain materials and equipment; ensure high quality output.
• Daily travel to the store location is required.
