Job summary

Greencore is seeking a Specifications Technologist for the Spalding site to ensure accurate setup of customer specifications, pack copies, and artwork in line with critical path deadlines. The role involves approving external specifications, updating documentation for regulatory changes, and maintaining rigorous labelling standards.

You will work with a team of around 540 colleagues on site, supporting health and safety, and contributing to continuous improvement through specification validation

Qualifications

• Experience using computers and web-based customer specification systems.
• Knowledge and experience writing specifications for retailers in food manufacturing.
• Understanding of legal labelling legislation and application.
• Familiarity with retailer own web-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up approval for external specifications and relevant technical information per customer requirements.
• Review artwork and ensure regulatory changes are reflected in pack information and labelling.
• Document procedures to meet internal and customer compliance with process development practices.
• Develop gold standard specifications for raw materials to improve compliance.
• Validate specifications and processes for synergies and consolidation through CI.
• Operate in line with Health, Safety and Environment policies to keep the workplace safe.
