A leading manufacturer of street lighting products is seeking an Area Sales Manager to promote their products across the UK. This role involves managing a portfolio of customers, specifying products during design phases, and securing large projects. Candidates should have a strong background in sales, particularly within the architecture and local authority sectors. The position comes with a competitive salary, company car, and additional benefits.
A genuinely exciting position has arisen with a well established, leading manufacturer of street lighting and road safety products. We are looking for an experienced sales professional to promote our range of motorway signage, traffic columns and passive safety products to architects, specifiers and consultants. You will develop and manage a portfolio of customers across the whole UK, covering the entire territory. You will work from home when not out visiting clients.
Circa £60,000 as a basic salary plus performance related bonuses. You will receive a fully expensed company car, fuel card, pension and 20 days annual leave.
You will sell a wide range of sign and signal posts, passive safety lighting columns, traffic bollards, sign masts and motorway sign supports to architects, specifiers, consultants and main contractors. You will also deal with Local Authorities, Highways Departments and civil engineering companies.
This role is all about specifying the products at design stages and hunting for large‑scale projects. Sectors you will focus on include Roads & Infrastructure, Rail, Health, Ports and Architectural.
You will inherit and develop an account base of main contractors, architects, specifiers and local authorities to manage. You will hunt for projects to quote and tender for, as well as expanding and upselling with existing accounts as much as possible.
