A leading health service provider in Luton is seeking a Specialty Doctor with a minimum of 2 years experience in clinical psychiatry to provide clinical support and work closely with a consultant psychiatrist. The role offers avenues for further training in Psychiatry as well as opportunities for progression within the specialty. Candidates should hold medical qualifications and possess strong clinical skills along with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
This post would be ideally suited for a Specialty Doctor, who has a minimum of 2 years experience in clinical psychiatry practice, and is interested working in a specialty doctor position in psychiatry outside of a Training position.
A successful candidate would have the option of continuing ongoing work in a specialty doctor position, or considering the option of applying for Specialty Training in Psychiatry in the future.
Analternative career path would be progression as a specialty doctor and with the possibility of gaining a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) via Article 14 route once required experience can be evidenced in the future.
The post-holder will work under the supervision of a consultant psychiatrist and will be integral to amultidisciplinary team, accessing local CPD activities as appropriate.
