Applications are invited for a Specialty Doctor position to join our Ophthalmology Team.
The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a multidisciplinary team with the aim to expand the service further with innovative leadership, ideas, audit, and research projects. The program will involve multi-site working across Greater Manchester. The individual timetable will be matched by the Medical Retina/macular lead in conjunction with the needs of all the doctors on the rotation. The post will commence with EED commitments. Timetables will vary based on department needs and there would be an expectation of undertaking acute referrals (including inpatients on different sites) / emergency department sessions set within the doctor’s program.

It is anticipated that the successful applicant will already be a GMC registered Ophthalmologist and have passed the Part 1 FRCOphth and Refraction examination, with significant experience in Ophthalmology.
