A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Doctor to join the Royal Eye Unit in Kingston. As part of the ongoing expansion and modernisation of the Royal Eye Unit we are growing our team to ensure we continue to deliver a high standard of care to our local community. We are recruiting enthusiastic and dynamic people to join our supportive and friendly team during this exciting time and as such, we are looking to appoint an innovative and high performing Specialty Doctor with independent out-patient clinic practice specialising in Medical Retina and Emergency sub-specialties.
The department is a teaching environment supporting the educational and clinical development of junior trainees and non-medical teams (including Nurse Practitioners, ACPs, Orthoptists and Optometrists) to support their development within extended roles.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within the Royal Eye Unit where our multidisciplinary team see over 70,000 patients per year. We offer a full range of hospital eye care services including specialist outpatient clinics, admitted care and an acute referral service for eye emergencies.
This is a substantive role based in the Royal Eye Unit at Kingston Hospital. The post is full time, 10 PAs per week. There is no on-call element and the post holder will be actively involved in supporting the Acute Referral Clinic (ARC).
