A two-year Specialty Doctor post in the dermatology department at Ashford & St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, working alongside consultants and the multidisciplinary team. The role covers diagnosing, investigating and treating patients, with teaching and audit responsibilities as part of a well-led service.

Full GMC registration with a licence to practise is required on appointment. The post involves patch testing, biologics and systemics, skin lesions and pregnancy dermatoses work, and

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise at time of appointment.
• Experience of conducting clinical audit.
• Knowledge and experience of working in dermatology.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining professional skills and knowledge relevant to the post.

Responsabilités

• Work with consultants and the multidisciplinary team to provide a well-led service for patients of Ashford & St Peter's and Royal Surrey County Hospital
• Diagnose, investigate, treat and manage patients in line with Trust policies and practices
• Deliver direct clinical care across all parts of the department, assisting clinical decision-making and sharing the workload equally
• Keep continuing responsibility for patients in one's care, ensuring safe handover as appropriate
• Play an active part in the management of patients under the care of the department
• Develop and maintain a high standard of practice
• Take an active role in all department activities, including teaching and audit

A two-year Specialty Doctor post in the dermatology department at Ashford & St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, working alongside consultants and the multidisciplinary team. The work centres on diagnosing, investigating and treating patients, sharing the clinical workload and taking safe handover of their care. Clinic time covers patch testing, biologics and systemics, skin lesion and pregnancy dermatoses work, alongside minor operative lists and teaching. Full GMC registration with a licence to practise is needed on appointment.
