Job summary

Direct Medics is seeking a Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry with substantial prison experience for a three-month, on-site post in Rochester, Kent. The role requires GMC registration, UK work rights, and minimum NHS experience. LSQ guidelines apply; flexible and responsive to prison healthcare needs.

The position operates on-site, Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, with a focus on delivering high-quality psychiatric care within forensic settings and coordination with prison health services.

Qualifications

• Valid GMC Registration with full Licence to Practice.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Minimum 6 months experience in the UK/NHS.
• Section 12 Essential.

Responsibilities

• Adult Psychiatry duties within a forensic/prison setting.
• On-site clinical duties Monday to Friday 09:00–17:00.
• Provide forensic-appropriate psychiatric care and collaboration with prison services.
