We have an opportunity for a full‑time Specialty Doctor to shape services at Cygnet Hospital Bury Forestwood on our 12 bed GAU.
Cygnet has been providing a national network of high‑quality specialist mental health services for more than 30 years, with 85% of our services rated Good or Outstanding.
Cygnet Bury Forestwood offers CAMHS Tier 4 PICU, General Acute and Low Secure services across four wards, with a defined treatment pathway from admission through to intervention and discharge.
Each service user has a bedroom with en suite facilities and communal spaces such as a gym, laundry, occupational therapy kitchen, therapy garden, and woodland walkways to the Elton Reservoir.
Our on‑site school, Forestwood School, is registered with the Department for Education.
This programme will help you develop the skills needed to progress to Consultant level; you will rotate within wards/services to gain experience across various subspecialties, receive support with MRCPsych exams and have an educational supervisor to review your progress.
