LTE Group is seeking a Specialist Technician for the Arden School of Theatre in Manchester. This full-time role involves supporting technical theatre operations and delivering hands-on workshops in a collaborative environment.

Join the dynamic team at Arden School of Theatre as a Specialist Technician, supporting our vibrant Technical Theatre & Stage Management Course, and Arden productions. This exciting opportunity is based at our City Centre campus on a permanent, full time (35 hours per week) basis.
We are seeking a skilled and proactive individual with technical knowledge in all areas of theatre, sound, lighting and stage, alongside a passion for creative learning environments. Desirably, we are looking for expertise in LX and/or scenic construction, to complement our current technical provision.
This hands-on role involves maintaining and operating technical equipment across rehearsals, performances, and lecture spaces, while delivering workshops, supervising student sessions, and providing specialist curriculum support. You will maintain materials and equipment to ensure effective curriculum delivery and assessment, as well as supporting lecturers through demonstrations and practical advice that enhance the student experience. Excellent problem-solving skills, strong organisational ability, and a flexible, can-do attitude are essential.
