Beacon Support Ltd. is recruiting Specialist One-to-One Study Skills and Strategy Support Tutors to work with Higher Education students. The role offers flexible hours and autonomy to manage your own caseload while helping students develop learning strategies to become independent learners.

Requirements include a degree, with professional membership in PATOSS, BDA, ADSHE or Dyslexia Guild, and willingness to meet students face-to-face. Induction, CPD, and regular training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with specific learning differences.
• Educated to degree level.
• Professional membership with PATOSS, BDA, ADSHE or Dyslexia Guild.
• Face-to-face availability for support provision.
• Willing to be considered for opportunities beyond the advertised region.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one study skills support using ILP with SpLD students.
• Help students develop effective learning strategies to become independent learners.
• Manage own caseload with support from a manager.
• Participate in induction and CPD events and keep records up to date.
