The Whittington Health NHS Trust is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Learning Disabilities) at NHS AfC Band 6. This fixed-term 8-month post is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a salary of £47,951 - £56,863 pro rata per annum including HCAS.

The post supports the Camden Learning Disabilities Service, supervising a Band 3 SLT assistant and contributing to complex caseloads. The role involves autonomous management of dysphagia and communication caseloads, with training

The post holder will be joining the award winning Camden Learning Disabilities Service as part of an integrated community team. This post is covering 8 months of maternity leave and would be supervised by a senior SLT.

The post holder will work autonomously holding a complex caseload of both Dysphagia and Communication. They will be carrying out assessment and intervention/management plans as well as contributing to risk assessments and clinical pathway meetings.
