Specialist Speech And Language Therapist
Location: London Road, SM4 5DX
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 4+ Month
Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09 00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £42.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat children with speech and language difficulties.
  • Provide therapy in schools and special settings.
  • Work with a team to support inclusive education for children with special needs.
  • Prepare reports for assessments and defend them in tribunals if needed.
  • Offer advice and training to school staff and colleagues.
  • Keep detailed records of all therapy sessions and interventions.
  • Liaise with other professionals and agencies to achieve goals.
  • Stay updated with new developments in speech and language therapy.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Person Specifications
Must Have
  • Qualified Therapist status.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Membership in the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
  • Experience in a multi-professional environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good IT skills.
