A prominent children's health care provider in Liverpool is seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join their community team. The successful candidate will work within the neighbourhood team of speech and language therapists to provide a high-quality speech and language therapy service to children in a variety of community settings including clinics, homes, schools and nurseries.
We are looking for candidates who can assess and provide a range of therapeutic interventions using specialist knowledge to children with a variety of speech, language and communication difficulties.
Caseloads are actively treated through our evidence-based care pathways, so hands-on therapy is part of the job. We also have access to Lyrebird, an AI package that supports our administrative tasks; patient records, therapy plans, and reports.
The team work collaboratively with other partner agencies and carers to enable them to understand the communication needs and to provide appropriate advice, support and intervention.
We are looking to grow our innovative community team, working in clinics, patient's homes, and nurseries/schools. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced clinician to join us in a permanent position.
This is specialist post, with opportunities to work across several clinical areas. Support from a range of highly specialist SLTs is in place, and access to external CPD courses is actively encouraged, along with opportunities to undertake research.
This post is based in the community, so there is an expectation that the the successful candidate will be able to travel to, and between various locations throughout the week.
