Job summary

St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust seeks an established Clinical Psychologist to work with clients with long-term physical health conditions, in inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating closely with medical and surgical colleagues.

You will contribute to multidisciplinary team work, provide expert psychological assessments, and support non-psychology staff through consultation; a strong track record in MDT environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Established Clinical Psychologist with experience in long-term physical health conditions.
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Ability to work closely with medical and surgical colleagues and other disciplines.
• Experience of multidisciplinary team work and consultation to non-psychology staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessments and interventions for clients with long-term physical health conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Offer consultation to non-psychology staff and contribute to service development.
