MillerKnoll International is seeking a Specialist for Revit & BIM technologies to own the roadmap and ensure high-quality digital assets across Europe and Asia. You will link product management with Revit engineering, writing clear specs and building families to improve designer experience.
You will collaborate with BIM managers, A&D firms, and internal teams to translate needs into actionable briefs, review models, and drive market readiness.
Our purpose is design for the good of humankind. It’s the ideal we strive toward each day in everything we do. Being a part of MillerKnoll means being a part of something larger than your work team, or even your brand. We are redefining modern for the 21st century. And our success allows MillerKnoll to support causes that align with our values, so we can build a more sustainable, equitable, and beautiful future for everyone.
The Specialist, Revit & BIM technologies owns the availability and quality of MillerKnoll’s Revit/BIM models for our European and Asian products. The goal is straightforward: our digital assets should make it easy for designers to specify MillerKnoll products, and hard to reach for anyone other's. This is a hands-on product management role that sits at the intersection of MillerKnoll's physical products and the digital, Revit versions of these products. You will develop a thorough understanding of our furniture systems and use that knowledge to write clear technical specifications for the creation of our models.
The quality and availability of our models directly influences whether MillerKnoll gets specified on projects. Right now, we do not have Revit models for all product lines, and the families we do have do not always meet the end user’s expectations. You will be the person who understands what designers need, assesses the gaps in our offering, defines how best to make our products shine in Revit, and develops the model alongside our internal Revit Engineers.
You have worked in or closely with design firms, so you understand the pressure designers are under and what makes a tool genuinely useful versus theoretically correct. You are also capable of creating models and families yourself, helping with the development effort. You are comfortable sitting between a market need and a technical constraint and figuring out a practical path forward. You do not need a lot of hand-holding, but you know when to ask for input. You are curious about how design technology is evolving: not just Revit, but how firms manage and access content more broadly, and you bring that awareness into the role.
Simply put, we hire qualified applicants representing a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. MillerKnoll is comprised of people of all abilities, gender identities and expressions, ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, veterans from every branch of military service, and more. Here, you can bring your whole self to work. We’re committed to equal opportunity employment, including veterans and people with disabilities. MillerKnoll complies with applicable disability laws and makes reasonable accommodations for applicants and employees with disabilities. If reasonable accommodation is needed to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and/or to receive other benefits and privileges of employment, please contact MillerKnoll Talent Acquisition at careers_help@millerknoll.com.
