A leading community healthcare trust in the UK seeks a specialist respiratory physiotherapist to join their multi-disciplinary team. The role involves providing integrated care for patients with respiratory conditions such as COPD and asthma, managing junior staff, and participating in service development and education. West Hertfordshire community respiratory service provided by CLCH has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic forward thinking specialist respiratory physiotherapist to join our friendly multi-disciplinary team.
The post holder will provide patient centred integrated care through specialist services including our RCP accredited pulmonary rehabilitation programme, hospital at home admission avoidance / virtual hospital, airways / dysfunctional breathing and oxygen clinics, airway clearance, adviceline, service triage whilst adhering to evidence based guidelines. This will include engaging in novel ways of virtual service delivery, working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and demonstrating effective communication skills.
Staff will also be actively involved in junior staff management, student clinical education and service development / quality / research opportunities as they arise.
To work within a multidisciplinary respiratory team to deliver community respiratory service 7 days per week, in West Hertfordshire providing specialist services for patients with COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis and interstitial lung disease.
Provide specialist care programmes, including pulmonary rehabilitation, hospital at home admission avoidance / virtual hospital, airways / dysfunctional breathing and oxygen clinics, airway clearance, adviceline, service triage and adhering to evidence based guidelines.
To take part in the line management, clinical supervision and education of more junior staff and students.
To be actively involved in service development, quality improvement and research/ audit.
