Job summary

Wight Healthcare in Pennington is seeking an enthusiastic nurse or physiotherapist to join our specialist respiratory team. The role is Band 6, with Band 5 applicants welcome for a developmental path.

You will deliver pulmonary rehabilitation and assess patients on and for oxygen therapy across several pathways. You will develop chronic respiratory disease management skills and support patients with acute COPD at home through Supported Discharge and Admission Avoidance.

Qualifications

• Qualified nurse or physiotherapist with respiratory care experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willing to develop in a Band 5-6 pathway.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Nurse or Physiotherapist with a passion for respiratory care to join our friendly multi-disciplinary team. You will be able to further develop your chronic respiratory disease management skills through supporting patients on a mixture of patient pathways, including delivering Pulmonary Rehabilitation, assessing patients on and for oxygen therapy, as well as supporting patients with acute COPD exacerbations at home through our Supported Discharge and Admission Avoidance pathways.
