NHS Lanarkshire is seeking an appropriately qualified Radiographer to authorise justification and perform radiographic examinations, supporting patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
The post requires HCPC registration and a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, with post-graduate skills in MRI and a willingness to deputise for Modality Team Leaders. The working pattern is 8am–8pm across seven days.

Authorise justification and perform Radiographic examinations, providing direct care and a high quality diagnostic imaging service in order to assist in the management of patients referred from clinicians. Deputise for Modality Team Leaders as required and oversee Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, and Clinical Support Workers, ensuring continuity of service delivery. To have a high level of knowledge and skills in one or more specialised field, generally to a post-graduate level. To be responsible for the organisation of a specialised service within Radiology on a daily basis or carry out examinations of a highly specialised nature in MRI. The working pattern for this role is 8am - 8pm (7 days).
