Job description

Bradford Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. An enhanced DBS check and children’s barred list check will be undertaken for these posts and all mandatory pre‑employed checks will be carried out. Responsibilities of the post include ensuring that the safety and welfare of children and young people is paramount by implementing the relevant safeguarding practice and policies and liaising with other council colleagues including the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) where appropriate. S01/SO2 (SCP 23‑28): £34 434 – £39 152 pa FTE (£17.85 – £20.29 per hour) – pro‑rata for part‑time, Term Time Only (TTO) posts. Contract: Permanent, based at Britannia House (3rd Floor), Hall Ings, Bradford, BD1 1HX. Start date: 13 April 2026.
