Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Band 5 development podiatrist to join our community and hospital teams. There is support to progress to Band 6 based on experience, with rotations across Rheumatology, MSK and Diabetes/Wound clinics and occasional home visits.
You will have strong clinical skills for high-risk patients, good communication, and an inclination to contribute to service development within our integrated Trust.
We invite you to join our committed podiatry team with the advantage of working within an Integrated Trust. We can offer a band 5 development role with support to achieve a band 6 role or a band 6 role dependant on experience. You will be working in community clinics with the opportunity to develop your skills in complex care or hospital care.
You must have good general clinical skills and experience treating high risk patients and a willingness to progress your skills in these areas. The post holder is required to have clear communication and interpersonal skills as well as enthusiasm for contributing to this service.
Our podiatry service has placement rotations for staff within our specialist teams, such as Rheumatology, MSK and Diabetes / Wound clinics as well as regular sessions on the nail surgery rota. Our whole team meets for monthly staff meetings and clinical reasoning sessions. There will be a small home visiting caseload.
