Job description

To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to outpatients, plastics, women's health, hand therapy patients and GP clinics. The post-holder may be required to work across St George's Hospital, St Johns Therapy Centre, Queen Mary's Roehampton and Primary care locations.

  • To undertake a specialised musculoskeletal assessment of patients including those with complex presentations and from this assessment formulate a treatment plan and carry out this treatment as an autonomous practitioner.
  • To supervise and teach recently qualified physiotherapists/physiotherapy students/assistants and other members of the MDT.
  • To undertake evidence-based projects, including making recommendations for change in practice and participating in departmental research and audit as appropriate.
  • To deputise for physiotherapy team leaders in operational management.
