We are looking for a keen registered Pharmacy Technician who will be able to work independently and as part of a team to support within the Central Pharmacy Stores with leading automations and supporting day to day operations of Central Pharmacy. The keen individual will be expected to line manage Pharmacy Assistants and support with day to day running of the department working closely alongside the Principal Pharmacy Technician to maintain KPIs and promote GDP at all times. Maintaining inventory and space will be a large part of automation, supporting stock holding and workflow of medicines to wards and outside units in a timely manner. You will assist the Principal Technician - Purchasing, Supply and Logistics - Pharmacy to manage the daily requirements of the automated stock system (Robot) and the associated processes. You will support the Senior Pharmacy Technician - CPSD Team Leaders with leading and line managing a team of Pharmacy Assistants in all areas and assist with referrals of complex service delivery problems. You will be responsible for coordinating training provided to the Stores and Distribution Team, to colleagues, rotational staff and Pharmacy Trainees as required. You will assist Principal Technician - Purchasing, Supply and Logistics - Pharmacy by actively working towards maintaining key performance targets and monitor quality of service provided. You will assist Principal Technician - Purchasing, Supply and Logistics - Pharmacy in ensuring Good Distribution practice (GDP) training is delivered and recorded for each member of the Stores and Distribution, rotational staff and Pharmacy Trainees as required. You will be a key contact to communicate effectively with colleagues, wider pharmacy team and service users for updates on the automated system.
