A healthcare provider in Croydon is looking for a Specialist Paediatric Dietitian to join their team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality dietetic services to paediatric patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in training and development programs. An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a part of the Dietetics service at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust for Specialist Paediatric Dietitian. The CHS Dietetics provides service for acute, community, paediatrics and LD services. We are a friendly, forward‑thinking team of 14 dietitians, 2 dietetic assistants and admin support, committed to providing high‑quality effective care. This post offers the ideal opportunity to be an integral part of a small team of paediatric dietitians. The post is based at Croydon University Hospital but has strong joined‑up working with community nursing and consultants, SLT, home‑visiting teams and school nurses.
Specialist Paediatric Dietitian Band 6
We have a strong student training programme, and the paediatric dietitians provide much‑needed placement experience to our student dietitians. As a Band 6 Dietitian you will undertake audits, contribute to service, help with improving and reviewing/developing nutrition and dietetic policies for paediatrics and as identified relevant to your role by the clinical and operational lead for dietetics. Dietetics has a strong focus on staff wellbeing and professional development. We have CPD and supervision to support the needs of staff who are embarking on a higher band.
