We are looking for an innovative, self‑motivated Dietitian to take up a post working with children and adolescents with Diabetes. You will have excellent clinical skills and a broad knowledge of Diabetes with previous experience of working with these age groups.
We would consider a Band 6 developmental to Band 7.
Alongside the lead Dietitian for Paediatric Diabetes you will be providing specialist input as an integral part of the Multidisciplinary Team at the Diabetes Centre. You will contribute to the dietetic service for paediatric diabetes, including developing structured education in conjunction with the paediatric diabetes specialist nurses.
You will be able to work autonomously, providing highly specialised clinical assessments and treatment to a complex caseload of children and young people with Diabetes in a variety of settings.
You will be part of a team consisting of 26 Dietitians and 8 Dietetic Technicians/Assistants as well as Administrative and Secretarial staff working across both the acute and community sectors.
