Job summary

Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for PARALEL, a rehabilitation and relapse prevention service for adults with eating disorders. You will work across community and inpatient settings, delivering specialist OT support to help people maintain recovery and stay safely in their communities.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration or eligible to apply.
• Good understanding of mental health and eating disorders.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and recovery-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Completing complex Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.
• Managing a caseload, including individuals with complex needs.
• Delivering individual and group interventions.
• Supporting discharge planning, transitions from inpatient care and relapse prevention.
• Facilitating therapeutic activities, including psychoeducation, cooking, shopping and social eating.
• Working with service users in community settings, at home and virtually where appropriate.
• Supporting development of the PARALEL service and alternative to admission pathway.
