Job summary

Smart Dental Care in Manchester is seeking a Specialist Orthodontist or Dentist with a Special Interest in Orthodontics to join our growing team for 1 day per week, with potential to rotate across Smart practices.

You will assess and treat complex orthodontic cases not suitable for clear aligner therapy, including fixed braces and other specialist techniques, helping expand our orthodontic provision across the network.

Qualifications

• Specialist orthodontists or dentists with a special interest in orthodontics.
• Experience in fixed orthodontic treatment and complex case management.
• Ability to assess cases unsuitable for clear aligner therapy.
• Strong communication and treatment planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Initial 1 day per week with potential to alternate between practices.
• Work across Smart practices to apply specialist orthodontic skills.
• Treat patients unsuitable for aligner-only therapy, including fixed appliances.
• Conduct complex assessments, treatment planning and case management.
• Develop specialist orthodontic referral base and collaborate with teams.

Help Us Expand Our Specialist Orthodontic Provision

Worsley Dental Centre is looking for a Specialist Orthodontist or Dentist with a Special Interest in Orthodontics to join our growing team.

We are particularly interested in a clinician who can assess and treat more complex orthodontic cases that are not suitable for clear aligner treatment, including cases requiring fixed braces or other specialist orthodontic techniques.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dentist with the right skills to work across some of our practices, helping us develop our orthodontic provision and provide patients with treatment options beyond aligner therapy.

The Opportunity

• Initially 1 day per week, with the potential to alternate between practices
• Opportunity to work across a number of Smart practices where there is demand for your specialist skills
• Treat patients who are unsuitable for aligner-only treatment
• Scope to provide fixed orthodontic and other specialist orthodontic treatments
• Complex orthodontic assessments, treatment planning and case management
• Opportunity to build a specialist orthodontic referral base
