A leading healthcare organization in Scotland seeks a motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their Integrated Occupational Therapy Team. This role involves rotational experience across ward and community settings with a focus on reablement. Candidates should have at least 3 years of post-qualifying experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be HCPC registered. Salary: £41,608 - £50,702
Contract: 37 hours
About us
Our team provides an Occupational Therapy service to Oban, Lorn and neighbouring islands on the north-west coast of Scotland. We are an Integrated Occupational Therapy Team based in the hospital in Oban and work primarily with the adult population in both in-patient and community settings.
We also provide a community visiting service to the inner Hebridean islands including Colonsay, Coll and Tiree and have a small Occupational Therapy team based on the island of Mull.
Peer support is provided by our very experienced Occupational Therapy team with a broad range of specialisms and areas of special interest and CPD is fully supported.
About the role
This post offers the opportunity for a highly motivated and confident Band 6 to join our Integrated Occupational Therapy Team. The role offers rotational experience across both ward and community settings, with a strong reablement focus.
You will have a broad skill mix or the willingness to expand your skill set as is required in a fully integrated Occupational Therapy setting. You will be responsible for the supervision and day to day workload management of Band 5 Occupational Therapists and/or Band 4 assistants and the department is keen to continue to support student placements.
About you
Essential - 3 years post qualifying experience.
Highly motivated and confident. Great interpersonal skills, good communication skills. Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registered, Full UK driving licence.
Relocation package available if meets NHS Scotland policies.
