NHS Scotland is recruiting a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work 36 hours per week based at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The role sits in the child health Occupational Therapy Service, delivering a three-tiered model across inpatient, outpatient, school and community settings.
You will lead on specialist OT work for children and young people, requiring an Honours Degree/ Diploma in Occupational Therapy with relevant experience and strong communication skills.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the child health Occupational Therapy Service for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist – 36 hours per week / 1wte. The post holder will work as a specialist Occupational Therapist based in Ninewells Hospital Acute Team.
The Occupational Therapy Service provides a three-tiered model of service delivery to support children and young people’s occupational performance. You will be based in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee and will be required to work flexibly across NHS Tayside within Ninewells in-patient, outpatient settings, schools and community settings. We are looking for an individual who has good communication skills, leadership skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. Applicants should have an Honours Degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy and relevant post graduate training / experience.
The post will offer the post holder the opportunity to work in an innovative service and play an instrumental role in continuing to develop the service to meet the needs of the children and young people in Tayside.
