Specialist Nurse (Respiratory)

We are looking for a Specialist Respiratory Nurse to join our Respiratory Medicine team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is a permanent, 15‑hour a week position (Monday to Friday, 2 days per week).

Main responsibilities
  • Provide specialist respiratory nursing care, including home oxygen, home ventilation, severe asthma, bronchiectasis, TB, COPD and early supported discharge.
  • Review patients on the ward, at home and in follow‑up clinics.
  • Give telephone advice and education to patients and families.>
  • Liaise with GPs and other healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver evidence‑based management, advice and expertise across wards, outpatient clinics and community hospital sites.
Working pattern

Monday to Friday, 15 hours a week over two days.
