Overview

Job summary: An exciting opportunity to join our specialist nursing team in Respiratory Medicine. The position is permanent and 15 hours a week. Our Respiratory team includes specialist respiratory nurses and physiotherapists providing services such as home oxygen, home ventilation, severe asthma, bronchiectasis, TB, COPD and early supported discharge.

As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will work with an exceptional team to help patients stay healthy when they need it most.

Responsibilities
  • Respiratory Specialist nurse: provide education, management, advice and expertise in all aspects of respiratory disease to a wide variety of patients. This includes work on wards, in outpatient clinics at Wonford and other community hospital sites, and in patients homes when needed.
  • Reviewing patients on the ward, at home and in follow-up clinics.
  • Giving telephone advice.
  • Liaising with GPs and other healthcare professionals.
Working pattern

Working pattern: Monday to Friday (working 15 hrs over 2 days).
