About the Role

Do you want to be part of an innovative, dynamic service that is committed to delivering the best care by the best people? The successful candidate will have strong engagement skills, excellent communication skills and some experience of working collaboratively with other agencies and professions.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team and undertake the crisis assessment of young people, develop care plans and provide psychological interventions in relation to the young person’s presenting need.
• Lead and supervise interventions provided by junior staff.
• Support young people during inpatient care to facilitate early discharge, working closely with the CAMHS Inspire Inpatient Service.
• Attend additional training related to in‑patient working to support joint working.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people with emotional or mental health difficulties, or in a mental health urgent care/crisis/intensive setting (essential).
• Band 6 Specialist Nurse (desired).
• Strong engagement and communication skills.

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week, 07:00‑19:30, with flexibility expected.
