Job summary

Randstad Student & Worker Support is hiring a Specialist Notetaker to provide in-person support at the University of Winchester campus. You will attend lectures to produce clear, accessible notes for students living with disabilities, helping them engage with their degree while you expand your own knowledge across subjects.

The role offers part-time, term-time sessions with flexibility to fit around other commitments.

Qualifications

• Fast and accurate typing with good spelling, grammar, and formatting.
• Outstanding punctuality and time management for scheduled classes.
• Ability to extract key information quickly in fast-paced academic environments.
• Supportive, respectful approach to working with disabled students.

Responsibilities

• Attend lectures, seminars, and practical workshops to take clear, comprehensive, and well-structured notes.
• Review and format notes promptly so students can access their learning materials effectively.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.
• Work collaboratively with Randstad to ensure all support runs smoothly and student needs are met.

Randstad Student & Worker Support is seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to provide specialist in-person notetaking support for students living with disabilities and health conditions at the University of Central Lancashire (Preston Campus).

As a Specialist Notetaker, you will attend live higher education lectures and seminars to produce clear, accessible, and high quality notes helping students fully engage with their degree while you expand your own knowledge across a range of fascinating subjects!
