An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Physiotherapist to join the team at the Colman Centre for Specialist Rehabilitation Services. The post will be based in the Specialist Neurological Rehabilitation Service, which includes both the in-patient and out-patient service.
The post holder will be joining a well-integrated and established multi-disciplinary team providing Level 1 rehabilitation to a varied and challenging caseload of patients aged from 16 years old and upwards. This will involve providing specialist Physiotherapy to the inpatient unit, out-patients within Jubilee House and across other community locations. The service treats a wide range of patients, including those with severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries, those with tracheostomies, patients in a disorder of consciousness and individuals who display behaviours which challenge.
A Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy is required and registration with HCPC. The post holder will possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills, be a good communicator, able to prioritise and work well as a member of a team. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out specialist assessments and planning and delivering interventions, both with individuals, their relatives and carers. The post holder should have a collaborative and enthusiastic style, as well as a passion and commitment to develop and promote evidence-based practice.
A full UK driving licence is required.
