Job summary

A leading psychological service provider in Norwich seeks a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to deliver high-quality autism and ADHD assessments. This hybrid role combines clinic-based and remote work within a supportive multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, producing clinical reports, and providing feedback to families. The ideal candidate will have professional registration and experience in neurodevelopmental diagnostics, emphasizing compassion and patient-centered care. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year post-registration experience in autism/ADHD assessments.
  • In-depth knowledge of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations.
  • Experience producing high-quality clinical reports.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face structured observations.
  • Perform remote developmental history interviews.
  • Produce accurate clinical reports including diagnostic formulations.

Skills

Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria
Highly developed written communication skills
Effective time management
Collaborative working within multidisciplinary teams
Compassionate communication with families

Education

Professional registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC, or Social Work England
ADOS-2 or ADI-R certification
