Job Summary

Join Evolve Psychology’s Digital Team as a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner and make a real difference in the lives of children, young people, adults and their families. This permanent role is primarily evening and weekend-based, with fixed contracted hours each week. Shifts run Monday to Friday with start times of 4 pm, 5 pm, or 6 pm until 9 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am‑1 pm or 9 am‑5 pm. The role requires a minimum commitment of 7.5 hours per week. You’ll work within a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality autism and ADHD assessments via NHS‑funded referrals and private pathways. This is an opportunity to combine clinical excellence with compassionate care using digital tools, and to contribute to training, research, and service development within a values‑led organisation committed to staff wellbeing and professional growth.

Main Duties

You will conduct structured remote observations and developmental history interviews, contribute to multidisciplinary diagnostic discussions, and produce accurate, evidence‑based clinical reports. You will provide clear, compassionate feedback to families, and work efficiently to meet service KPIs. This is a remote position. You will use digital workflows and in‑house systems to enhance clinical efficiency and reduce administrative burden, supported by dedicated IT and operational teams. Applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 7.5 hours per week on set days and hours.

Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year’s professional registration with one of the following regulatory bodies: HCPC, NMC, GMC, or Social Work England.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
  • Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations.
  • In‑depth knowledge of DSM‑5 diagnostic criteria for autism and ADHD.
  • Trained and experienced in the use of diagnostic tools such as ADOS‑2, ADI‑R, etc.
  • Effective time management and caseload organisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and meet clinical deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and participate in collaborative diagnostic discussions.
  • Highly developed written language skills used to produce high‑quality clinical reports.
  • Well‑developed communication skills with children, young people, and their families, ensuring compassionate, clear, and professional interactions throughout the assessment process.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Availability to commit to a minimum of 7.5 hours per week and specify shift pattern(s) as per the job overview.
