An education agency is seeking an Outreach Tutor to provide 1:1 support to primary and secondary aged students who are currently out of education. The role involves delivering tailored tuition and mentoring to help students integrate into the community. Ideal candidates will need QTS or equivalent, experience with SEND students, and a creative, patient attitude. The position is flexible, offering between 2 to 30 hours per week, with an ASAP start date. Candidates must hold a valid DBS certificate and provide professional references.

We are currently looking for experienced tutors and mentors to provide support to students currently out of education. Tuition is in place for students with EHCP's, so subjects would need to be tailored to the needs of the students.
The tuition aspect of the role requires the tutors to deliver the core subjects to the pupils and the mentoring aspect of the role requires trips to the local area, helping the young people integrate into the local area, CV writing, planning for the future and life skills.
Due to the nature of the students we provide support to, applicants must have a background and strong understanding of SEN.
