An educational institution in Royal Leamington Spa seeks a dedicated support worker to assist students with neurodiversity. This role involves providing 1:1 support, ensuring students develop necessary skills in a nurturing environment. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and experience supporting young people with Autism. A salary range of £17,936.61 - £19,146.74 per annum is offered, pro rata according to the academic year.

As part of this team you will work to enable, support and develop young people so that they can access education and fulfil their potential.
This role is pro rata so the salary you will be receiving is £17,936.61 – £19,146.74 per annum. For any roles that start part way through the academic year, the annual salary will be pro rata to the remaining months.
Any offers of appointment will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (formerly CRB), a certificate of good conduct if applicable, plus receipt of satisfactory references, Occupational Health clearance, an understanding of safeguarding and qualifications verification. An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position as you will be working within 'Regulated Activity' within a specific place (i.e. the College).
This role is classed as working within Regulated Activity. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. By applying for this position, you agree to an Enhanced DBS check in line with DBS regulations.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a specialist resource provision at Leamington Spa College. The Cube is our dedicated support hub for learners with neurodiversity and related mental health challenges, offering a calm, nurturing environment where students can develop the skills, resilience and independence they need to thrive.
The successful candidates will become part of a multidisciplinary team. They will have experience of working with young people with additional needs. They will work to create a nurturing environment that is trauma informed and attachment aware.
