We are recruiting for specialist schools in York. As a Specialist Intervention Assistant, you will deliver targeted interventions for pupils with SEND and SEMH needs, working closely with teaching staff to improve engagement, learning outcomes, and behaviour.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions tailored to pupils’ needs.
  • Support pupils’ learning, social, and emotional development.
  • Implement and monitor positive behavioural strategies.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and resilience.
  • Record progress and provide feedback to SENCO and teachers.
