A prominent healthcare provider in Cambridge is seeking a Specialist in Paediatric Retrieval to provide expert clinical leadership and multidisciplinary management for the Paediatric Retrieval Service. Overview

Specialist in Paediatric Retrieval (PaNDR) (10 PA) at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH). This is a substantive post to commence as soon as possible. Applications are welcome from those unable to work full time or those wishing to job-share.

The appointee will provide Consultant clinical service, clinical leadership, specialist advice and multidisciplinary management for the Paediatric Retrieval Service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Consultant clinical service and clinical leadership for the Paediatric Retrieval Service.
  • Deliver specialist advice and participate in multidisciplinary management and decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of 12 years' medical work since primary medical qualification, with at least 6 years in a relevant specialty in the Specialty Doctor and/or closed SAS grades.
  • Equivalent years' experience in a relevant specialty from other medical grades (including overseas) will be accepted.
  • Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application.

  • Demonstrable English communication skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking) in line with GMC Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess IELTS/OET before GMC licence to practice.
