Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Practitioner Duty Worker to join the Early Intervention Service. You will triage referrals, gather information, assess patients and provide specialist care within a multidisciplinary team.

You will take duty phone calls, respond to emails, mentor students and junior staff, and help plan and review health improvement programmes while upholding safety, privacy and dignity in care.

Responsibilities

• Triage referrals and gather information for assessments.
• Manage referral screening and patient assessments within the MDT.
• Answer duty calls and emails from service users and carers.
• Provide supervision, mentorship and training to students and junior staff.
• Plan, implement and review health improvement programmes.
