Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Dietitian to join the surgical team at Royal Preston Hospital, covering colorectal, upper GI and urology patients. You will work with inpatients and outpatients as an autonomous practitioner, supported by the MDT including surgeons and the nutrition team.

The post offers opportunities for service development, student training, and structured professional development with a team of 45 dietitians and colleagues.

Competenze

• HPC Registration is required.
• Degree in nutrition and Dietetics with CPD in relevant area.
• Experience in MDT working and diabetes care.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Member of the British Dietetic Association.

Mansioni

• Deliver dietetic care to a wide range of surgical patients including those with stomas and upper GI conditions.
• Autonomously manage complex cases with support from the surgical MDT.
• Collaborate with surgeons, the nutrition team, and stoma/other AHP colleagues.
• Support student training and participate in group education and audits.
