Job summary

A healthcare organization in Greater London is seeking a Specialist Band 6 Dietitian to provide dietetic care to Head and Neck, Oncology, and Haematology patients. The role involves being part of a multidisciplinary team, educating patients and staff, and participating in clinical audits. Applicants should have a HCPC registration and experience in dietetic services. This position offers a salary range of £46,419 to £55,046 annually, including HCAS.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of dietetics within the NHS.
  • Knowledge of dietetics within Head and Neck, Oncology and Haematology.
  • Postgraduate experience of working in acute and/or community dietetic services.
  • Experience of undertaking clinical audit/research.
  • Experience in the clinical supervision of students.
  • Experience of multidisciplinary team working.
  • Experience in teaching and education to patient groups and healthcare professionals.
  • Clinical experience of working in Head and Neck, Oncology and Haematology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist dietetic care to Head and Neck, Oncology and Haematology patients.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in MDT training, departmental audits, and supervision.

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education

HCPC current registration
Evidence of continuing professional development
Membership of BDA and relevant specialist group
