Job summary

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Dietitian to join a small, friendly team on a fixed-term Band 6 post covering maternity leave.

The role offers up to 15 hours per week, with duties spanning eating disorders, disordered eating, learning disability and general mental health outpatients. UK visa sponsorship is not available at advertising time.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with current HCPC registration.
• BSc Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent.
• Evidence of CPD.
• Membership of British Dietetic Association (BDA).
• Post registration training in area supporting practice.
• Experience working in MDT and ability to discuss management plans with MDT.
• Wide range of post-registration dietetic experience including inpatient and community services.
• Experience training Student Dietitians.
• Experience in mental health setting (inpatient and community).
• Experience with Eating Disorders and Learning Disability.
• IT literacy and strong communication skills.
• Ability to travel independently without public transport.

Job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic dietitian to join our small and friendly team. We are currently recruiting a fixed term Band 6 Specialist Mental Health Dietitian to cover maternity leave.

We are currently looking to recruit a dietitian with some experience working in mental health, for up to 15 hours per week, until end of March 2027.

This role would suit someone with an interest in working in eating disorders, disordered eating, learning disability and general mental health outpatients.

At the time of advertising, this role does not meet the minimum requirements set by UK Visas and Immigration to sponsor candidates to work in the UK.

Main duties of the job

• Providing, maintaining and developing a clinical dietetic service.
• Plan, justify and be responsible for the delivery of specialised dietary advice to service users and their families / carers.
• Plan, manage and prioritise own clinical workload and to ensure maximum efficiency in all areas.
• Ensure safe practice at all times through the recognition and appreciation of clinical governance.
• Maintain accurate and appropriate clinical records and statistical information as required, in accordance with professional standards.
• Work as a member of a clinical multi-disciplinary team, this will include close working with mental health nurses, psychologists and the physical healthcare team.
