Key Responsibilities

• Manage clinical trial outsourcing for Jazz’s development programs across all study phases, pre‑ and post‑authorization.
• Conduct vendor evaluation and selection, contract negotiation and maintenance, and financial management to support Jazz clinical studies.
• Assist the Associate Director and senior leadership in outsourcing, vendor selection, and clinical contract processes.
• Generate RFIs, RFPs, and contract templates.
• Interface with cross‑functional teams including legal, procurement, compliance, and clinical operations to select and manage vendors and study sites.
• Develop and maintain tracking tools (spreadsheets, databases, etc.).
• Attend team meetings and represent Clinical Outsourcing on cross‑functional clinical trial working groups.
• Assist in the monthly accrual process and financial reporting for projects, and may help train individual contributors or professional employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of clinical outsourcing experience.
• Experience generating RFPs, RFIs, and study budget/contract templates.
• In‑depth knowledge of compliance and legal issues related to clinical trials (Phase 1‑3).
• Experience managing CROs, central laboratories, and other clinical study vendors, including trial sites.
• Understanding of international clinical pharmaceutical standards, ICH/GCP guidelines, and regulatory compliance issues.
• Working knowledge of clinical trial functions: clinical operations, data management, biostatistics, regulatory, and drug safety.
• Maintain up‑to‑date information on changing healthcare regulations affecting clinical trial payments.
• Some limited travel may be required.
