A large healthcare provider in Bristol is hiring Specialist Clinical Psychologists to join their NHS Children and Young People Gender Service. The role involves providing psychological assessments and interventions for young people and working within a multidisciplinary team. Opportunities for professional development are available, with options for full-time or part-time work. Salary ranges from £55,690 to £62,682 annually.
We are looking for thoughtful, compassionate and innovative Specialist Clinical Psychologists working into the NHS Children and Young People Gender Service (South West)- CYPGS SW, who will also work within wider Psychological Health Services. CYPGS SW is provided by a large Multi‑disciplinary team (MDT). As part of this team the specialist clinical psychologists will work to develop, deliver and evaluate interventions and the service. Psychologists working in the CYPGS SW are supported through supervision and along with the team will participate in training to develop knowledge and skills to deliver the work. As well as providing services into CYPGS SW, specialist clinical psychologists will have other clinical and professional roles depending on skills, interests and service demands.
